Since 2010, I've been living and working in Hong Kong. Currently, I'm the English editor at City University of Hong Kong Press. In 2020, I received a master's in integrated marketing communications from the City University of Hong Kong.
Before moving to Hong Kong, I was a reporter for The Marshall Democrat-News in Marshall, Mo. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a double major in journalism and music.

Like many people, I started my career in Hong Kong as an English teacher. Then I was an ELT writer and editor at Marshall Cavendish Education, an Executive Officer/Language Editor at the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology and later an assistant manager in marketing communications at the health insurer Bupa (Asia) Limited.
