Product Presentations
In high school, I refused to take a public speaking class because I was too shy. Then in college, I was quite nervous whenever I had to give even a 10-minute presentation. However, with my new job at Marshall Cavendish, I have now given two full-length presentations to groups of teachers, and I may do more in the future.
In September, I gave an hour-long talk at a primary school in Beijing about two textbook series published by my company: My Pals are Here! and Step Ahead. I had never spoken about anything for that length of time before, but with lots of Power Point slides and YouTube videos, I actually felt like I didn't have enough time to say everything.

This past Tuesday, I traveled to a primary school in Guangzhou with other members of the ELT team and marketing representatives to talk about MC Online, an online portal also produced by my company. Together, my colleague Ryan Fung and I gave an hour-long presentation discussing how to incorporate online learning with traditional textbooks and core English language skills.
