New Company Website

After being delayed for more than two months, my company's new website finally launched this past week. Exciting! It looks much more professional and contains a lot more information than the previous one, and there is still more to come.

Because my job title is 'creative writer' instead of 'editor', I do some promotional writing as well as working on our educational materials. During the process of creating the new website, I wrote the new 'About Us' section for Marshall Cavendish Education Hong Kong.

On our website, my department has our own page, which is called ELT. From our homepage, you can navigate to the different titles that we have produced thus far. Of those, my main project was the More Words Please series.

On the More Words Please page, I wrote the bullet points to describe the book, as well as the paragraph of text that provides even more information. Additionally, I created the comprehension quiz about the first book, 600+ Adjectives.

From that page, if you click on the link for audio files, you will end up at the page below. Of course, I edited it and also determined how to classify the key words: as similar, related, opposite or different. But even more exciting, when you play the audio files, you will hear my voice! On the English form only, of course.

When I first started at my job, I did some proofreading work on My Book of 1000+ Words. And yet again, I recorded all the English audio files for the key words. Sadly, they are only available on the CD, so you cannot hear them online.
