Asia-Pacific Eye Care Week

Every year, APAO holds its Asia-Pacific Eye Care Week, and all APAO member societies are encouraged to participate. This year, I was in charge of coordinating all aspects of this project.

Before the eye care week began, I liaised with various APAO members in charge of writing the educational information on the week's themes. I also wrote text for the 6th eye care week web page and further promoted the event in email invitations, the APAO edition of Ocular Surgery News and on social media.

Additionally, I wrote a guest blog post for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (an APAO member society), who offered to help promote the eye care week.

After the eye care week, I will also edit and publish reports from APAO member societies about their participation. These will be featured in all the APAO media channels as well.
