Primary Summer Workbook Series

Marshall Cavendish Education also published a primary summer workbook series this past March. This edition is a revision of the previous edition, also a revised edition, which was published a couple of years ago.

For this project, several departments worked together to produce the books, which contain four sections: General Studies, Mathematics, Chinese and English. Except for the English part, the books are completely in Chinese.

In the past, I was not very involved in this series, though I did write some new exercises and reading texts for the previous edition. This time around, however, I was the project manager for the English part, so I did everything.

First, I chose which old activities to change, and then I wrote new replacement activities. I also edited and proofread all the English content, including the answer keys, audio scripts and audio recording. Most exciting of all, my name is printed in the book as part of the editorial team!
